The outdoor shrine statue

 

The Shrine of Our Lady of England is situated in the Priory Church.

 

We also have an outdoor shrine which was formerly in a garden opposite the church and is now in a new position at the top of the avenue of hornbeams in the Matt's Wood  Development. 

  When the garish thick layers of paint were sand-blasted off the outdoor statue a beautiful, deep grey, cast-iron surface was revealed.
