CANONS REGULAR OF PRÉMONTRÉ OUR LADY OF ENGLAND PRIORY - Storrington - West Sussex - UK Canons Regular of Prémontré
Our Lady of England Priory is home to Roman Catholic priests belonging to a Community of Canons Regular of Prémontré, also known as Premonstratensians after the place where we were founded in France in 1121. We are also known as Norbertines after St Norbert, our Founder. Because of the white habit we wear, another name for members of our Order is 'White Canons'. We follow the Rule of St Augustine.
At present the community of Norbertines in Storrington are trying to discern how best to use this considerable building in the spirit of St Norbert but in the 21st century. To this end we are hoping to develop and enhance some of our land to raise funds to refurbish the Priory buildings so that they can be used safely and suitably by the resident community, the parish community, local community, groups on retreat, pilgrims and visitors. More information regarding our future can be found by following the link on our Land Development button on the menu of this webpage.
Our Lady of England Priory is in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Arundel and Brighton
