Monday 2.30pm
MOTHERS' PRAYERS For mothers who wish to pray together for their own and all children. We meet on a Monday afternoon for 40 minutes of quiet prayer and reflection. Please feel free to join us or send in your petitions. Contact 01903 742150.
Tuesday 2.45pm
PARISH PRAYER GROUP The Prayer Group meets in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. We also pray for the intentions in our Parish intercessions book. All are welcome. See the poster in the porch for more details.
Wednesday 8.00pm MUSIC GROUP The Music Group meets every Wednesday. New members are always welcome.
Thursday 2.30pm SUNDAY READINGS DISCUSSION GROUP The discussion group meets every Thursday in the Parish Room at 2.30pm and lasts for 1 hour. Parishioners are asked to come and join the preparation for Sunday Mass. You don't need to come every week. This Group is very useful for Mass Readers & Bidding Prayer Writers. All are very welcome. |
PARISH LITURGY GROUP The Group meets as and when required according to the different liturgical seasons. The Liturgy Group also creates banners and other artwork relevant to each liturgical season, especially during Advent and Lent. CIS INTER-CHURCH PRAYER MEETING CIS (Christians in Storrington) are an ecumenical group and the various local churches take turns to lead. When hosted by our Parish the meetings are held in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. All are welcome.
First Wednesday of the month 10.00am
CO-WORKERS OF MOTHER TERESA This Group meets in the Priory. Please contact Fr Martin for more details.
OTHER REGULAR OR OCCASIONAL MEETINGS
PARISH CAFOD GROUP Our CAFOD group, which has been established in our Parish for a number of years, hold regular meetings and fundraising events; these are advertised in the parish newsletter.
S.V.P. The St Vincent de Paul Society (S.V.P.) meets regularly. Much of our work relates to visiting those who appreciate occasional social visits because they live alone or are housebound in some measure, or in meeting other needs or concerns. If anyone would like to join in our work (or knows of anyone in need of visits) please let Fr Martin know.
PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL The Pastoral Council meets regularly and dates are advertised in the Parish Newsletter.
